PATHWAY PLAYREADS

National Theatre

Between January and December of 2019, we ran a weekly Play Reading in the common areas of the National Theatre.

Each week we would introduce a new play, in a relaxed setting, for reading and exploration. Not only was Play Reads an opportunity for friends and collaborators to expand their play repertoire, it also offered the chance to expand professional networks and come together with other industry professionals.

The first & last half hour of a relationship

"Us" is a tragicomedy, exploring both the last half an hour & the first half an hour of a relationship, interrogating love; where it starts, where it ends & why it didn’t last.

This is modern, city-dwelling, scrutinised, shared, storied, ageing, cohabiting love and what happens if it fails to meet expectations.

THE FRIDAY FREEDOM FIGHTERS

5TH - 16TH OCTOBER

ETCETERA THEATRE, CAMDEN

When you’re fifteen years old, the only things that matter are Man United, Oasis and fish & chips for tea - not career paths or A-Levels.

Tearaways Brian and best pal, Séamus choose a Ford Transit to London and building sites of the big city instead of college back home. Days of hard graft lead to nights of alcohol, speed and ecstasy. Clubbing to Prodigy and raving to Faithless, these boys find love, fun and freedom in clubs and raves across the land... But will it all come at a price?

A cross between LOCK STOCK and CUCKOO’S NEST, this original, dark comedy returns after a successful run at Edinburgh Fringe, 2018.
